Microneedling also known as Collagen induction therapy, dermarolling, or skin needling, is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with micro needles causing tiny wounds and are healed thanks to the body’s response of making more collagen and elastin which help the skin looks younger.

Microneedling it's effective in treating minor scarring related to acne, wounds, and aging. You will notice a brighter and firmer skin. Results are achieved after multiple sessions. Microneedling is far more effective than at-home rollers.

Who can take this course?

We have designed all our training for begginners with no experience in the industry or advanced aestheticians who want to add services into their current menu of services in their spa or private studio.

Is there a downtime?

There is a minimal downtime, we recommend to tell your client to consider being off work for 2-3 days if they can or if they work with clients as when getting this treatment there might be some swealling, redness and irritation and no makeup  can be worn for at least 24hrs, remind them to follow the aftercare steps for better results.

Are the result visible inmediatly?

 Yes, your client will be able to see and feel a smoother, brighter and even skin tone. It is recommended at least 3 treatments for best results and this will depend on the zone to be treated and your client goal.

Is it painful?

It can be a little uncomfortable, we recommend you to discuss with your client the option of using a numbing cream, although the best results are achieved without it. Most people can tolerate a little bit of discomfort and will be ok without the numbing cream.

How many sessions are needed?

We recommend to offer 3 first session spread every 3-4 weeks.
